August went by in the blink of an eye, just like I knew it would. So here is a recap on some of the things that happened last month!

1. Lee and I received a surprise in the mail from Michael & Carina, my photography friends that did a session for us!
2. I set up and did my first Skype consult! Woo hoo! I love to meet with couples in person, but sometimes distance prohibits that. Answer; Skype chat!
3. Maizey the Calico continues to sunbathe on her window perch. What a life?!
4. I received the film scans from Megan & Rudy’s amazing Nation Cathedral wedding. Hooray! They will be featured in Style Me Pretty soon!
5. Sent out some USBs to a couple of clients, but not before decorating their silk USB boxes with vellum paper and my wax stamp that I looove.
6. I ordered a copy of Style Me Pretty Weddings – FYI, It’s chalk full of beautiful photos and great tips for wedding planning.
7. Tucker accompanied me on several errands around town. He looooves a car ride!
8. I got film scans back from a shoot in gorgeous Colonial Williamsburg. Hooray!
9. I tried a new recipe; lemon velvet cake with lemon buttercream frosting.
